Swamp Monster in the Third Grade was about a swamp monster who became human. He went to school in third grade with some other human children. At the end he turns back into a swamp monster, but stays friends with the humans. I loved this book because it was funny. Yes, I would recommend it to a second grader who is about to start third grade. I would give this book 4 stars.
